As a documentary filmmaker, activist, public speaker, and now podcast host, Eduardo Chávez, grandson of civil rights leader Cesar Chávez, has participated in and documented captivating conversations with incredible people around the world and now he wants to share those discussions with you! The goal of We Are Latinx is to convey that Latinx individuals have a "connecting thread," but within that, we have so many unique experiences and it's important that we share our stories.

Rudy talks about his multicultural upbringing growing up along the US-Mexico border in Texas. This unique experience along with studying at Harvard have contributed to Rudy's style and his refined voice as a writer. In the magical realism genre, Valley of Shadows has everything one could as for in a novel. Set in a dusty Texas border town in the late 1870's, protagonist Solitario Cisneros is called upon to investigate a group of mysterious murders that are tearing the town apart. This book is a must read!
