As a documentary filmmaker, activist, public speaker, and now podcast host, Eduardo Chávez, grandson of civil rights leader Cesar Chávez, has participated in and documented captivating conversations with incredible people around the world and now he wants to share those discussions with you! The goal of We Are Latinx is to convey that Latinx individuals have a "connecting thread," but within that, we have so many unique experiences and it's important that we share our stories.

Founder of Educational non profit Dr. Jose Enriquez joins the show. Jose talks about his early childhood in El Salvador and moving to the United States at a young age. He credits mentors like his mom and high school wrestling coach as key figures in his life. He talks about the culture shock of moving to Utah for college and his first jobs as a teacher in Utah. Eduardo and Jose discuss the current state of education in this country. Lastly Jose discusses how the organization he founded, Latinos In Action, has flourished over the last 20 years and is now in 14 states and growing quickly. Don't miss this episode.
